Camp S'More Than Four!

We had a camping theme for Mason's birthday party this year. The rain didn't stop us from playing games in the tent and making s'mores on the bbq. Jaxon and Katelyn were the activity directors and all campers had a great time!

My Grandma

I am so sad to post that my Grandma Huff passed away this week. We all know that she is in a better place, but it has been hard to say goodbye. She lived with my mom for over 4 years and we spent so much time with her. The boys got to know her so well. She just loved when they would burst into her room and giver her hugs. She loved to sit and chat, telling stories of her childhood. She also loved to listen to your day, down to the smallest detail. Thank you Gram, for the love of reading and learning that you passed onto me. You will always be in my heart and I will think of you every day.

A Day at the Zoo

On Mother's Day we went to the SF Zoo. It was a beautiful day, but I think the animals were all still in hibernation mode. Most of them were asleep and the ones that were awake were not very active. One of the highlights of the day was when it was feeding time for the bears. The zoo keeper was above the bears tossing down the food. One bear was so excited to eat, he would stand in front of him and reach up as if to grab the food. It was funny! But, hey, I did find these adorable meerkats! I think I'll take them home.

Messy Boy

One hot day a few weeks ago, the boys were running in the sprinklers out back. When they were done, there were puddles that were screaming "come get messy with me". Well, leave it to Mason to find a hammer and go to town pounding away in the mud. I peaked outside and found this messy little man. Of course, I ran to get my camera, and a towel, and quickly got him into the bath. I love my little guys!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Jaxon and Corey are on the same baseball team this year. We are all having a great time watching the games as one big family. Jaxon is really enjoying this time. He is getting good at hitting and throwing the ball. He's played all the positions and he seems to be most comfortable on the infield next to the pitcher (the coach pitches). It's been a busy season and I can't believe there are only 3 weeks left. Go Bees! Bzzzzzz!

This Man

turned 60 last month. My dad is an incredible guy. He has taught me the value of family, the true meaning of loyalty and generousity. He is young at heart and loves to laugh and have fun. I love him so much and am so blessed that he is my dad.

Happy Birthday Baby!!!

My baby turned 5 today. He is quickly becoming such a little book worm. He woke up this morning asking if I was taking home to Kindergarten today. He can't wait to go, which is such a releif for me. I was afraid that he wouldn't be that into school. Of course our day started with birthday breakfast-donuts with candles. Aunt Shell picked up Mason today and took him to pizza for lunch. We hit the groumet McDonald's for dinner as we had about 45 minutes to eat between karate classes and then on to Open House for Jaxon.

I know I haven't mentioned the fact that it's been over a month since I've blogged, but I'll get to that in another post. For now, Happy Birthday Mason!!!
